Treatment For Horses
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is an energy-based therapy where the therapist uses light contact on specific parts of the body. It releases stress and trauma in a very gentle way.
There is no physical manipulation of bones or tissues and the body is allowed to readjust at its own pace.
Why should I choose BCST for my horse?
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is perfect for those horses which do not like the more conventional and perhaps more invasive forms of treatment.
This holistic therapy is extremely gentle and subtle and works at a deeper, more intuitive level.
BCST is also worth considering because it is not invasive, it will not harm your horse and it may just provide the answer you are looking for.
A horse should not receive treatment if it is injured and you have not already consulted your vet.
It can be useful in the following situations:
- chronic pain, anxiety, stress, behavioural problems
- tension release and relaxation, improving energy flow and mobility
- rehabilitation, revitalization and strengthening the immmune system
What reaction can I expect from my horse during a treatment?
The visible signs of a horse ‘releasing’ during a session may include licking, chewing, yawning, sighing, moving/shifting weight, softening of the eyes, moving around to adjust his posture etc.
Equi-Release Pro ™
Sometimes and only if the horse allows me I complement a session with the Equi-Release Pro ™ by Aaron Crimmins (Victoria / Australia). It is also a non-invasive and powerful therapeutic tool to relieve muscular and nervous tension in horses.
I usually use it when a horse holds a lot of tension. After the treatment with the Equi-Release Pro ™ I integrate it with my Biodynamic Craniosacral skills.
